As a young boy, Hassan Badshah would often look up to his brother, Bakir Abbas, a skilled flutist who had featured on songs by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan to Atif Aslam. Often, he would have to refuse work due to prior commitments and that’s when Hassan Badshah, the next of kin was beckoned to take up musical training formally. At the age of 15, he had already recorded a national song for PTV and was well on his way to playing live sessions with artists from across Pakistan.

Having played and recorded with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam and various others, he’s currently mixing, mastering and audio engineering for Ali Zafar. Hassan Badshah will feature on Coke Studio, Season 9 for the first time as a guest musician.
